VEGAS MUSIC ROUNDUP: Kylie Minogue Residency, $20 Miranda Lambert Tix

Kylie Minogue will reportedly begin a string of weekend dates at The Venetian in late October. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the venue will be Voltaire, a high-tech, 1,000-seater custom-tailored for pop residencies.

That s only a quarter the size of Adele s venue, The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, so Minogue, who came to fame with 1988’s “The Loco-Motion,” won t give the reigning queen of the Strip any competition, sales-wise.

With more than 80 million worldwide album sales, Minogue is the most successful female artist of all-time in Australia, so her appearances should stir quite a buzz.

Minogue had been considering a Vegas residency since last fall, when the Daily Mail reported that she was in talks with Caesars Entertainment for a 12-week run, possibly at Caesars Palace or Planet Hollywood.

While Kylie may not have a huge profile stateside, she is an absolutely massive draw for the Brits,” the UK tabloid reported at the time.

Minogue will tease her upcoming residency in a track called “Vegas High” from her upcoming album, “Tension,” slated to drop September 22.

Live Nation’s 4 tickets for $80 promotion will include some premium Las Vegas concert attractions, including shows by Miranda Lambert, Maroon 5, and Jonas Brothers.

Fans can visit starting Wednesday, July 19, to see the full list of participating events. Select the event and click the “Summer’s Live 4 Pack” ticket type and proceed to check out for the $80 promotion. Presales begin Tuesday, July 18. The sale ends Aug. 1.
